•  How many open class spots do you have for each registration?

  • Each session is different, the amount of open class space is a reflection of how many current students decide to re-enroll for their spot. So it changes session to session.

  • Do you have a waitlist?

  • We do not have a waitlist.

  • Do current students get to pre-register?

  • Yes, once you are in a class you have the opportunity to continue on, current students sign up during pre-registration week. 1 week prior to public registration.

  • On registration day, why does is say “sold out” until registration starts?

  • We have to only add the inventory (class spots) exactly when registration starts at 10:00am. If we put them in inventory early, people will sign up early before registration officially starts.

  • How can I find out how many open class spots there will be for registration day?

  • After current student pre-registration we post to our homepage all available class spots for the upcoming registration. So usually the weekend before the following Monday registration.

  • Am I a beginner or intermediate?

  • If you can center clay and make finished pots consistently on your own, you are ready for intermediate,

  • How many open studio hours come with a class?

  • you get your 3 hr class as well as up to 6 more open studio hours per week. For 6 weeks.

  • How do I do your open studio package?

  • A prerequisite for our “open studio package” is 1st taking a class at ESPS to get familiar with our procedures, kilns, and glazes.

  • How come you only offer 1 beginner class?

  • We have many students carry on from session to session so over time our studio has been more intermediate/advanced focused.

  • Refunds will not be given once the six week course has begun.
